Ontario International Airport Train Transfers

Omnitrans, the largest public transportation provider in San Bernadino County, has three routes that serve the airport. The Ontario International Airport is connected to the Rancho Cucamonga station via ONT Connect, which runs nonstop every 35 to 60 minutes. From there, riders can transfer to Metrolink's San Bernardino Line, which runs daily and connects with Los Angeles Union Station.

Stops for Routes 61 and 380 can be found just east of the baggage claim areas of Terminals 2 and 4, respectively. Route 61 runs daily between the Downtown Pomona station, the airport, and the Fontana station.

Haven Avenue, which runs along the airport's eastern perimeter between Chaffey College and Ontario-East station (where passengers can transfer to Metrolink's Riverside Line during weekday rush hours), is where Route 81 operates Monday through Saturday.

San Bernardino Line

Express service is provided to Redlands along the San Bernardino Line, which runs from Downtown Los Angeles east through the San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire to San Bernardino. It was initially part of the Metrolink system's launch alongside the Santa Clarita and Ventura Lines.

At least 20 trains travel from Los Angeles to San Bernardino each weekday. Ten trains travel to San Bernardino on Saturdays and seven on Sundays, making it the first of Metrolink's seven lines to operate on weekends.

Until weekend service on the 91 Line, two trains on Saturdays and Sundays would continue to the downtown Riverside station.

Pomona Station

One of two train stops in Pomona, California, Pomona station is also known as Pomona-Downtown station.

Metrolink's Riverside Line trains between Los Angeles and the Riverside-Downtown station, Amtrak's Sunset Limited between Los Angeles and New Orleans, and Texas Eagle between Los Angeles and Chicago through Texas all stop here. Pomona's municipal government owns and manages the facility.

Six westbound and five eastbound trains on the Metrolink Riverside Line stop at Pomona every weekday, with most of these trains operating during the morning and evening rush hours, respectively. You won't get any help on the weekends.

On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10:40 p.m. and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 4 a.m., the Sunset Limited, and the Texas Eagle stop at the station as one combined train heading east.

Metrolink Riverside Line

Riverside Line of Metrolink runs along the Union Pacific Railroad from Los Angeles Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles to Riverside. This service only operates during the morning and evening rush hours on weekdays and barely in the middle of the day.
